Safety First Racing was fortunate enough to escape serious damage from an early Monday morning fire. The adjoining printing company in the industrial complex occupied by Safety First Racing suffered extensive damage in the fire.

“I was awakened by a phone call at 2:25 a.m. from the landlord stating the building was on fire and I needed to get to my shop! Not exactly the way I wanted to wake that up that morning,” commented Hanson.

“I’m just glad no one was injured and we only suffered smoke damage and have soot all over everything. I had a bunch of new shop equipment ordered that thankfully hadn’t arrived yet,” explained Hanson.

Safety First Racing will be moving to a new temporary location at 1001 Nicholas Blvd. Unit M, Elk Grove, IL 60007. The new address is approximately one mile away and we will be back up and running by December 4th.
